Research and Analytics
Ekin works on research and analytics as part of the THINK360 team. She graduated from Boğaziçi University Department of Political Science and International Relations with a minor degree in Economics. She focused on political economy during her MA at the Central European University in Budapest and wrote her thesis on the precarization of informally employed Syrian refugees in Turkish textile sector. Until now, she held research assistantship positions in Turkey and Hungary within several projects on political economy, socio-economic development, migration and citizenship. She took part in the forming executive committee of a youth NGO as the Director of Communications and worked for tackling problems of the youth in the MENA region through policy advocacy.
Migration, labor market policies, socio-economic inequality, precarization and targeted integration policies are among her research interests.
