Seza contributes to THINK360 studies within S360 by carrying out research and analytics. After graduating from Istanbul Erkek Lisesi, she completed the undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations at Boğaziçi University, and Erasmus program at University of Cologne. During her graduate studies in the same department at Boğaziçi University, she focused on politics of disaster management and she wrote her master’s thesis on 2011 Van Earthquake in which she emphasizes sustainable and inclusive disaster management policies and their impact on society and environment. Prior to joining the S360 team, she worked as a research assistant at Boğaziçi University and a commissioning editor at E-International Relations, an open access website for students and scholars of international politics.
She presented her academic works on disaster management at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and at Nazım Hikmet Research Center of Culture and Art. Among the areas of her research interest are equality, social and economic inclusion, local development, and inclusive education.
